DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — The DeKalb County Police Department is investigating after a teenager was shot and killed on Tuesday night.
According to police, officers responded to the 1400 block of Bouldercrest Road shortly before 9:50 p.m. When they arrived, they found a 16-year-old boy who had a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was found in the breezeway of one of the apartment buildings, police said. The DeKalb County Medical Examiner's Office has since identified him as Andre Fortson.
