DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A man was shot and killed at a gas station Monday morning, according to the DeKalb County Police Department.
Authorities responded to the BP gas station at 4420 Rockbridge Road around 5 a.m. The gas station is near Atlanta's Pine Lake neighborhood and not far from Rockbridge Elementary School.
The DeKalb County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as 25-year-old Christopher Estrada-Petersen.
When officers arrived at the gas station, police said they found the man shot to death.
Detectives are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting. No word from authorities at this time if there's a suspect in the case.
