PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. — Law enforcement officers have arrested a Georgia man in connection with a sex crime investigation where they say they found images of child pornography.
Authorities took 32-year-old Thomas Joseph Cwik into custody and charged him with sexual exploitation of children.
According to the Paulding County Sheriff's Office, their deputies, along with Homeland Security investigators, executed a federal search warrant at a home on Primrose Lane in Powder Springs on April 23.
They said they found multiple images of child porn and some original photos that depicted child porn on computers and other devices.
Detectives believe Cwik may have molested and produced videos of a sexual nature with at least two different victims in the Paulding, Cobb, and Douglas County areas. Both of the victims were minors, officials said.
Now they are asking anyone who may have information about Cwik or are a victim to call the Juvenile Investigations Division of the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office at (770) 445-6105 or Homeland Security Investigations at (404) 346-2831.
