DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. — Police say they have cleared Douglas County High School to resume normal operations after a security sweet.
They had responded to the school on Wednesday after what they termed an "anonymous unverified telephone threat to the school."
"Officers have completed a security sweep following the anonymous telephone threat and the precautionary lockdown has been lifted," Douglasville Police tweeted. "The school is resuming normal operations."
Earlier, Douglasville Police tweeted that there had been no incidents at the school besides the anonymous threat.
"All other rumors are false," police said.
