HABERSHAM COUNTY, Ga. — A 21-year-old sits in behind bars after police busted him for alleged drug dealing.
According to the Habersham County Sheriff's Office, officers with the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office arrested David Chase Anderson during a May 2 traffic stop after a three-month investigation.
Authorities executed a search warrant at Anderson's home off Jess Kinney Road where they allegedly found about $30,000 in drugs, including about five pounds of marijuana, more than 150 THC vape cartridges and about 100 “hits” of LSD. Police also reportedly found more than $32,000 cash and three firearms.

Authorities charged the Mt. Airy, Georgia man with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute a schedule 1 narcotic, and possession of a stolen firearm. They took him to the Habersham County Detention Center.
Authorities said additional charges are pending.
