Dunwoody Police looking for violent armed robbery suspect

The suspect's face can be clearly seen on surveillance photos.

Dunwoody Police are looking for an armed robbery suspect who they said approached victims near their vehicle shortly after midnight on Dec. 27, 2018.

The suspect, along with a second individual, placed their victims on the ground and took items from them.

Investigators tracked one of the stolen cellphones to a Walmart in Union City - where the suspects were seen on surveillance video.

The suspects arrived in an older gold or tan passenger car.

A handgun was used in the initial robbery, so police are saying that the suspects are to be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about the incident or who recognizes this suspect is asked to contact Detective Jared Bradley at the Dunwoody Police Department at 678-382-6916.

Anonymous tipsters may call Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-TIPS (8477). Crime Stoppers tipsters may be eligible for a reward for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case.
