DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A woman is now behind bars after a deadly shooting, according to DeKalb County Police.
Police said the shooting occurred on Apr. 10 near the 3800 block of Waldrop Lane. Officers responded to a crash scene and found a woman shot inside a vehicle.
The victim was taken to the hospital, where she later died from her injuries. The woman, police said, was able to tell officers on the scene who shot her before succumbing to her injuries, leading police to identify the suspect as DeLana Young.
Officers were able to find Young, and she was later arrested for murder and remains in the DeKalb County Jail.
