DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A portion of a major DeKalb County road was closed Tuesday morning due to a fatal shooting.
According to Clarkston police, the shooting took place off Brocket Road around 4:00 a.m. They said shots were fired into the car through the victims windshield.
Chief Thadius Brown said when officers arrived to the scene the Chevy Tahoe was 'riddled' with bullets. Detectives believe the incident started at Prescott Ridge Apartments, which is a few blocks away from the crime scene.
Brown said detectives are actively working to learn the identity of the man.
