ATLANTA – A bouncer was shot at a nightclub following a fight between two patrons.
Atlanta Police said around 2:30 a.m. a fight broke out between the two men inside Platinum Adult Club located on Piedmont Road.
The club’s bouncer was shot in his upper chest in an attempt to break the fight up. He was taken to a nearby hospital alert and conscious. No one else was hurt.
Police do not know if the two men fighting fired the gun or if it was someone in the crowd.
One man was taken into custody.
