FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — Flowery Branch Police said they have arrested a man accused of robbing a bank over the weekend.
Officers announced the man was arrested Sunday evening at a Super 8 Motel along Dorsey Street in Gainesville. The suspect, who is now accused of robbery by intimidation, was taken into custody without incident by Flower Branch Police with the help of Gainesville Police.
Authorities have been searching for him since Saturday. According to police, he walked into the Wells Fargo Bank along Hog Mountain Road Saturday around 11 a.m. He passed a note to a bank teller demanding money and the teller complied. It's not clear how much money the teller passed to the man.
