The woman said Moore claimed that her niece hit his daughter while they were playing in the park, then followed her to her car, blocked them from leaving and attempted to deflate her tires. She attempted to leave and realized she backed into his vehicle, which is when he fired a shot into the car door. A statement from Moore's lawyer claims that when Moore tried to talk to the woman about the alleged hitting, she reversed her car into his - while his son was in it - and was attempting to do so again when he pulled out his gun and tried to shoot at the tires to disable the vehicle.
The incident occurred on April 23, 2023 and Moore was released on a $1 million bond on May 10, 2023.
