ATLANTA — Fulton County deputies are actively searching for a 30-year-old murder suspect who was released following a scheduled hearing in Clayton County.
Zion Shaka had been in custody in Fulton County since 2020 but was transferred to Clayton County for his hearing.
According to the Fulton County Sheriff's Office, Shaka was supposed to be returned to Fulton County after his hearing in Clayton County. However, authorities confirmed to 11Alive that he was released, prompting a search to find him.
