Charles A. Moore, 34, was arrested again after a multi-jurisdictional investigation.

WINDER, Ga. — A Gwinnett County man has once again been arrested and charged with sexual exploitation of children, linked to his role as a youth cheerleading coach at a Barrow County gym.

Charles A. Moore Jr. was previously arrested last month on charges stemming from a Dec. 2023 incident where he allegedly used a cell phone to film an explicit act with a 16-year-old girl. He later bonded out.

Moore, 34, was taken into custody at approximately 6 a.m. on June 25 at his residence in the 3000 block of Kittery Drive in Snellville. The arrest followed a search warrant executed by Barrow County Sheriff's deputies and officers from the Loganville Police Department and the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office.

Warrants state that a video was recovered showing Moore receiving oral sex from a minor in a vehicle in the rear parking lot of Star Athletics in Winder.

“This arrest is the result of an ongoing, multi-jurisdictional investigation,” said Barrow County Sheriff Jud Smith. “We received information from the Loganville Police Department after their earlier arrest of Moore for sexual exploitation of children.”

Moore, who was previously employed at Star Athletics, was terminated in November 2023 following parental complaints about inappropriate social media posts.

“The employees at Star Athletics have been extremely cooperative throughout our investigation,” Smith added.

The investigation is ongoing, and investigators urge any additional victims to come forward.

“These girls will not be in trouble if they provide information about Moore’s behavior," said Investigator Heather Stafford.

“Moore is a predator and has been grooming these young girls for his own sexual gratification,” stated Sheriff Smith. “I am extremely proud of the efforts of all the agencies involved in getting him off the streets.”

Moore attended his first appearance in Barrow County on Wednesday, where he was denied bond. He is currently held without bond at the Barrow County Detention Center.
