Rebecca Hood, 50, and Scott Hood, 56, both of Calhoun, were taken into custody Thursday and charged with child cruelty. The arrests follow an investigation that began back in January 2021 at the request of the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office after reports of sexual and physical abuse involving minors.
