ATLANTA -- The grandmother of a 5 year old girl allegedly killed by her own mother this week, is calling for the harshest punishment possible.
"Justice, I want justice," Lisa Coursey said.
She cherished her 5 year old granddaughter Heaven Woods.
" I was maw maw to her, and she would come and say maw maw, kiss me. She would just love on you and kiss you," she said.
She knew her daughter, Amanda Hendrickson wasn't the perfect mother: she once threatened to call DCFS on her when she saw her pull Heaven's hair, but she never thought she was capable of this.
"It just breaks my heart knowing my daughter was involved in this. I don't know what else to say. But this was an innocent child she did this to," she said.
Amanda and her boyfriend, Roderick Buckner, have been charged with Felony Child Cruelty in Heaven's death... and Coursey has no sympathy for her. Investigators say the 5 year old died from blunt force trauma to her stomach.
"I think she should rot in jail. I don't got no use for my daughter. I don't have a daughter named Amanda anymore. What she did to my precious grandbaby, she deserves everything she gets in there," she said.
Amanda Hendrickson is pregnant, and Coursey says she will seek custody of her unborn child.
