GSP seeks suspect in serious Cherokee Co. hit-and-run

The Georgia State Patrol (GSP) is hoping that the public will have information on a truck involved in a hit and run in Cherokee County, Saturday.

CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. -- The Georgia State Patrol (GSP) is hoping that the public will have information on a truck involved in a hit and run in Cherokee County, Saturday.

The crash happened on Evans Cook Road near Epperson Road in Cherokee County around 4:40 p.m.

The accident involved a pedestrian that was left with a serious injury.

At this point, police are looking for what witnesses called a full-sized red pickup truck with damage on the front passenger side and to the mirror on that side.
