One dead after argument leads to shooting at residence, Gwinnett Police say

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — One man is dead after an argument turned violent on Wednesday afternoon, Gwinnett County Police said. 

Police said officers were called to the 6200 block of Josephine Road at around 3:30 p.m. after they received a 911 call about a shooting at a residence. When they arrived, they found a man dead with at least one gunshot wound. 

According to police, the shooting stemmed from an argument. However, it is currently unclear why the argument started and who was involved.

The investigation is still in its preliminary stages, and the motive is currently unknown, police said. The name of the victim is also currently being withheld until loved ones are notified.
