NORCROSS, Ga. — The Gwinnett County Police Department arrested 10 individuals on gambling-related charges on Tuesday when they shut down what they called an "illegal casino."

Gwinnett police executed a search warrant at Sosa's Billiards at 6070 S. Norcross Tucker Road in unincorporated Norcross.

Officials said the warrant was based on an investigation that began in 2023 when an officer initiated a traffic stop, and the vehicle occupant stated he had just left a "casino" in the area. Undercover officers visited the location and confirmed the illegal operation.

A 66-year-old Duluth man was identified as the establishment owner and was charged with commercial gambling. A 40-year-old Auburn man, identified as an employee, was also charged with commercial gambling. Eight other individuals were arrested and charged with gambling. The search also led to the seizure of drugs and money.
