DULUTH, Ga. — Police have made an arrest in a Gwinnett shooting that left one person dead and another injured near Duluth on Thursday night.
The shooting happened at Fairway View Apartments on Club Drive police said. Police believe the shooting happened after an argument between the victims and the suspect.
In addition to leaving one suspect dead, police said the other has life-threatening injuries and is being treated at a local hospital. The suspect, who has since been taken into custody, also had minor injuries, police said.
Police haven't publicly identified the suspect or the two victims at this point as their investigation continues. The location of the shooting is south of the city of Duluth and not far from the intersection of Club Drive and Pleasant Hill Road.
