ATLANTA — Atlanta Police are investigating an attempted robbery that happened at a McDonald's off Martin Luther King, Jr, Drive. shortly before 1:00 a.m.
Police said the suspect walked up to the drive thru window and announced a hold up. When the restaurant employee saw the gun they screamed and ran away.
That's when police said the robber fired two shots, one of which hit the glass.
Two shell casings were found in the street, police said. However, authorities said the suspect was able to escape in a nearby vehicle.
Luckily, no one was injured.
