HENRY COUNTY, Ga. — A Stockbridge man arrested on charges of child molestation has pleaded guilty to two counts of the crime and has been sentenced.
Edgar Erick Tinoco-Jiminez was sentenced to 20 years with 15 of those to be served in federal prison and the rest on probation for the crimes he committed.
“This outcome brings justice to this family,” Henry County District Attorney Darius Pattillo said. “These children suffered tremendously, and their family was pleased that the defendant was held accountable for his actions and the girls did not have to testify at trial.”
Tinoco-Jimnez was convicted of molesting a 3-year-old and 7-year-old in his home in 2012 and 2013. The children's mother learned about the crimes in 2017 and reported them to police.
