A 26-year-old man is dead after a shooting in the Stonecrest area, according to DeKalb County Police Department on Thursday.
The shooting happened on Hillendale Drive near Somerset Parkway, police said.
Family members at the scene identified the victim, though authorities have not yet confirmed his identity. DeKalb County police have not released details about what may have led to the shooting or indicated whether they are actively searching for suspects.
