LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — Gwinnett County Police are investigating a homicide after they found the body of a missing 40-year-old man early Wednesday morning.
Officers responded to the 200 block of Paden Cove Trail to check on a parked truck around 12:30 a.m.
When police looked into the truck, they found Guadalupe Garcia Rodriguez's body. He was previously reported missing by his wife a couple of days before, on Monday, July 1.
His wife told officers that the 40-year-old never came home that afternoon and was last seen leaving in the truck on Monday.
While it's unclear what happened to Rodriguez, police are investigating the motive of the incident.
