ATLANTA — A 19-year-old was found shot and killed in southwest Atlanta at a fire station early Friday morning, police said.
Atlanta Police said they responded to an address on Fairburn Road that corresponds to a fire station, where homicide detectives were working the scene.
Police however said they believe the teen, who has since been identified as Chyrek Lowe, was shot at a location on Kimberly Way, about three miles away from the fire station.
Police confirmed Lowe was found dead in the backseat of a car at the fire station. It happened just before 5 a.m.
