ATHENS, Ga. — A second suspect has been arrested in the deadly Memorial Day shooting that left an Athens man dead on Friday, according to a release from the Athens-Clarke County Police Department.
Police arrested Janiya Moore, 18, who is facing felony murder and tampering with evidence charges.
Zyquavious Thomas, 16, was also arrested on the day of the shooting and was charged as an adult with felony murder, attempted armed robbery and aggravated assault.
Cameron Manago, 20, was killed in the deadly incident that happened around 10:25 p.m. on Memorial Day at the Rolling Ridge apartments on Rolling Ridge Drive.
