MABLETON, Ga. -- Cobb County Police confirm they've apprehended four people involved in a carjacking that started in Fulton County.
According to Cobb County Police spokesperson Dana Pierce, four people were caught with the help of Cobb PD's K-9 unit. The arrest happened on Fontaine Road SW. in Mabelton.
A Fulton County Police spokesperson said the four people in one car were suspected of robbery and carjacking. The car drove out of Fulton, into Douglas County, and then into Cobb County. Fulton County Police used their helicopter to alert officers on the ground about the suspect's route.
Police were able to capture the suspects without injury. They're being interviewed, and further details should be released after police complete those interviews.
