Knoxville police arrested 10 women Friday as part of a large prostitution sting.
KPD said the sting was conducted by the West District Patrol that targeted both prostitutes and people trying to solicit them.
The charges for the women ranged from prostitution and violation of parole to public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Three other men were issued misdemeanor citations for patronizing prostitution.
Police said Shawn Riddick was cited for patronization at North Central Street and Bernard Avenue, and Nicholas Shelton and John Carter were cited at Beaumont Avenue and Toms Street.
