Third person arrested, charged in Gwinnett man's mysterious disappearance, police say

He is waiting to be transported from Michigan back to Atlanta, joining two others who've already been arrested in the case.

ATLANTA — A third person was arrested in connection to the death and months-long disappearance of a Gwinnett County man, according to Atlanta Police.

Ahmir Bobo, a 25-year-old, was taken into custody by U.S. Marshalls in Detroit, Michigan, on Saturday and charged with murder and concealing the death of another in relation to the presumed death and disposal of 21-year-old Leondre Flynt.

Bobo is waiting to be transported from Michigan back to Atlanta, joining two others who've already been arrested in the case. Police previously reported a man with a Michigan identification card was the leaseholder of the Atlanta apartment where Flynt is believed to have died. Authorities found Bobo after tracking Flynt's truck back to the parking lot of a CVS Pharmacy in Detroit, police said.

Flynt's body has never been found, with police concluding he was shot and killed at the Marquis at Buckhead apartment complex on July 29 and that his body was later disposed of.

Based on Atlanta Police Department warrants

July 29, 2023: Flynt communicated with a woman named Audrey Zalky, whom he met online, and plugged GPS directions to the Marquis at Buckhead apartment complex. 

July 29, 2023: A shots-fired call was reported from the apartment complex, and later, bloodstains were found at Marquis at Buckhead. 

July 29, 2023: An Instagram message allegedly sent by Zalky suggested she was attacked inside her apartment and that someone "shot and killed her assailant," warrants state

July 29, 2023: Surveillance footage showed Zalky and another individual, identified as Destiny Stephens, using Flynt's truck to purchase tools like a handsaw and bolt cutters from the Lowe's in Edgewood.

August 2023: Leondre Flynt's missing person case from Gwinnett was transferred to the Homicide Unit of the Atlanta Police Department after it was discovered that the last place he visited was the Buckhead apartment where he is believed to have been killed.

October 12, 2023: Destiny Stephens was arrested in Fulton County and charged with murder and concealing Flynt's death. 

December 29, 2023: Audrey Zalky was arrested in Carroll County and charged with murder and concealing Flynt's death.
