ATLANTA — Atlanta Police are investigating after a man was found dead in Bankhead Monday morning.
Police say the man was found unresponsive in the 560 block of Chappell Road near the Exxon gas station around 7:30 a.m. Emergency crews responded to the scene and pronounced the man dead.
There is a heavy law enforcement presence, including SWAT, on the scene as homicide detectives gather more information.
There was no identifying information initially available about the man or the cause of his death.
