ROME, Ga. — A man was found shot dead inside of a car in Rome, according to police on Wednesday.
According to the Rome Police Department, it happened on Tuesday. Officers were called out to block 300 of Reynolds St., where they found 56-year-old Brian Jeffery Haynes dead inside a car.
Not too long after finding the man, a 21-year-old man was arrested. Police identified him as Nigel Oliver Hall and said he was charged with aggravated assault and felony murder.
No other information about what led up to the shooting was released.
