WARREN, Mass. -- What started as a car break-in investigation ended with an arrest and the seizure of 2,300 bags of heroin in one Massachusetts town.

NBC affiliate WWLP-TV reports that Anthony Perez of Holyoke, Mass. was found at the scene when police looked into a call of a car break-in.

In addition to the massive quantity of heroin, pre-bagged, police said he had 60 grams of cocaine and more than $18,000 in cash.

He nown faces charges of trafficking heroin, a Class A controlled substance; possession with intent to distribute heroin; trafficking cocaine, a Class B controlled substance; possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of a Class C controlled substance; larceny of a motor vehicle and driving with a suspended license.
