ATLANTA — The Atlanta Police Department is investigating after a man was shot in the Oakland City neighborhood.
According to police, officers responded to the 1000 block of Lawton Avenue SW in reference to a person shot. When they arrived, they found a man with an apparent gunshot wound. He was sent to the hospital in critical condition.
Officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident, police said.
