DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A man is dead after being shot multiple times on Sunday morning in DeKalb County, police said.
According to the DeKalb County Police Department, officers responded to the 2300 block of Woodcrest Walk in reference to a person shot at 6:45 a.m.
When they arrived, officers found a deceased 25-year-old man who had multiple gunshot wounds inside a residence, police said.
The DeKalb Medical Examiner's Officer later identified the person who died as Jamarco Williams.
Detectives responded to the scene to further the investigation. It is currently unknown what led to the shooting.
