ATLANTA — A man is dead after an apparent shooting in Downtown Atlanta, according to Atlanta Police.
Officers said they responded to Peachtree Center Avenue on Sunday, near the Atlanta Marriot Marquis and Consulate General of Germany.
When police got to the scene, they said they found a man in critical condition with a gunshot wound; however, officers noted the man was later pronounced deceased on scene.
At this time, there is no word on a suspect or motive in the shooting.
