ATLANTA — The Atlanta Police Department is investigating after a man was shot and killed on Sunday afternoon.
According to police, officers responded to the 500 block of Magnolia Street NW in Atlanta's Vine City neighborhood. When they arrived, they found a man with an apparent gunshot wound. Police said he was unresponsive and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is currently unknown.
In a Sunday night update, the police said that the preliminary investigation indicated the man's gunshot wound was self-inflicted and that foul play is not suspected.
