Man in custody after 36-year-old shot and killed in Rockdale County: sheriff's office says

It happened when deputies responded to a person shot on Knox Drive at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Sunday. Jameason Reynolds is now in custody.

ROCKDALE COUNTY, Ga. — A man is now in custody after a 36-year-old man was shot and killed on Sunday afternoon, according to the Rockdale County Sheriff's Office.

Jameason Reynolds was arrested and charged with with murder, possession of firearm/knife during commission/attempt to commit a felony, firearm used by a convicted felon during the commission of felonies, aggravated assault, and tampering with evidence in connection to the murder. 

Deputies responded to a person shot on Knox Drive at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Sunday. When they arrived, they found a 36-year-old Kenneth Price with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene by the coroner. 

The incident is currently under investigation, the sheriff's office said.
