ATLANTA — A man is dead after an overnight shooting at an apartment complex in northwest Atlanta, according to the police department.
Officers were called to the Reserve at Hollywood Apartments in the 1600 block of Hollywood Road around 11 p.m. on Monday night. When they arrived, police found a man behind a building who had been shot multiple times.
The man, later identified as 21-year-old Jacquez Harris, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
Investigators are working to determine what led up to the shooting. There is no word on a suspect at this time.
Just two weeks ago, a woman was found shot to death with her child in the car at the same complex.
