KENNESAW, Ga. — A Pennsylvania fast food manager who allegedly threatened teen girls who worked beneath him and coerced them sexually was arrested in Kennesaw on Tuesday, police said.
Kennesaw Police said they arrested 38-year-old Darnell Penn, who faces kidnapping and rape charges in Montgomery County, Pa., where he was on the sheriff's most wanted list.
Penn faces a rash of accusations in Pennsylvania, including that he locked a teen worker he managed at a Five Guys in his car and forced her to perform oral sex on him, NBC Philadelphia has previously reported.
"This stays between us, or your job is done here," he allegedly said after the assault.
According to NBC Philadelphia, he allegedly forced another teen worker to expose herself to him inside the Five Guys. He also apparently was the subject of an earlier case at a Philadelphia McDonald's, in which he was accused of trying to get a teen worker to send him inappropriate pictures last year.
"He definitely has a pattern of behavior and he's gonna do it again if he's left out in the public," Plymouth Township, Pa., Police Sgt. Tom Longo told NBC Philadelphia earlier this month.
He originally posted a $100,000 bail in Pennsylvania before fleeing to Georgia. Kennesaw Police said they arrested him at the Bridges of Kennesaw Apartments on Jiles Road.
"Penn initially refused to come out of the apartment and would not let three other occupants leave the apartment or open the door for officers," Kennesaw Police said in a release. "Officers were able to get Penn to surrender after a brief period of negotiation and he was taken into custody without further incident."
He was charged in Georgia with obstruction, giving a false name and three counts of false imprisonment. He's currently at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.
