ATLANTA — The Atlanta Police Department is investigating after a man and woman were found shot on Interstate 20 early Wednesday morning.
Police said the shooting happened near the westbound lanes of I-20 at Langhorn Street SW around 5 a.m.
Officers responded to the scene and found two people who had been shot in a vehicle. Both victims, a 39-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman, were transported to the hospital in stable condition, according to the police department.
Investigators are working to identify what led up to the shooting. There is no word on a suspect at this time.
