ATLANTA — Editor's note: An earlier version of this article incorrectly stated that someone had died in this shooting. This story has been updated to remove that.
Multiple people were shot, including teenagers, leaving a neighborhood party in southwest Atlanta, according to police.
Officers with APD said they responded to Richardson Street just after 10 p.m. on Saturday.
In total, officers said five people were shot, all of them transported to Grady Hospital.
Among the victims was a 29-year-old woman who was in critical condition. The other victims, who police say are in stable condition, are a 17-year-old girl, a 33-year-old woman, a 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy.
Officers add that a neighborhood party was going on at a nearby park throughout the day and into the evening. Toward the end of the event, they said shots rang out.
Atlanta Police also stated it had officers present at the park.
At this time, officers have no word on a suspect or motive in the shooting.
On Thursday, Atlanta Police responded to a person shot call just .2 miles around the corner from Saturday's incident. On Fulton Street, police located a 32-year-old woman with a gunshot wound, who was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
At this time, police do not believe these two incidents are connected.
