According to the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office, a warrant has been issued for 25-year-old Dequan Trimell King.

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office needs help finding a murder suspect who officers believe killed someone in a possible home invasion.

According to the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office, a warrant has been issued for 25-year-old Dequan Trimell King of Atlanta.

On Sept. 22, Brandon McCrary was shot to death on Waldrop Cove. DeKalb County Police said then that the 36-year-old victim was found dead inside an apartment.

A witness told responding officers that she saw two men force their way into one of the units and heard at least three gunshots.  She told officers she didn't see anyone leave, so, for the officers' safety, they requested SWAT officers to get inside.

When SWAT entered the apartment unit, they found McCrary. He had been shot multiple times.  No one else was inside the home.
