Gwinnett church burglarized, electronics stolen

NORCROSS, Ga. — Gwinnett County Police are looking for the man who broke into a Norcross church and stole several items.

On Wednesday, March 18, just before 11 a.m., police say the New Church of Atlanta on Amwiler Road near Norcross reported that they had been burglarized. 

According to the assistant pastor, the suspect stole electronics and damaged equipment in the congregation area. He said the suspect left the building through the front door.

"We urge the public to view the photos and to offer tips to the suspect’s identity," police said in a news release.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, with facial hair. He was wearing a light-colored hoodie, light pants and black sneakers.
