'No Mercy' neck tattoo leads to arrest of alleged violent Gangster Disciples member

Antariouse Caldwell is an alleged member of the nationwide Gangster Disciples street gang and has been indicted on multiple federal counts.

A "No Mercy" neck tattoo helped lead authorities to arrest an alleged violent gang member wanted for his involved in several murders.

The Clayton County Sheriff's Office, along with several other agencies captured 25-year-old wanted fugitive Antariouse Caldwell -- also known as 'Phat' -- at a motel in Jonesboro late Wednesday morning.

The FBI said that Caldwell was located after authorities received a tip from someone who saw media coverage about his distinctive neck tattoo.

Caldwell, an alleged gang member, was indicted on October 24, 2018 on federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Conspiracy-Murder charges.

He was named in a separate indictment returned by a federal grand jury in the Northern District of Georgia on April 27, 2016. 

Thirty-two alleged members of the Gangster Disciples street gang were indicted on RICO/conspiracy charges relating to alleged criminal activity by the gang.

Fugitive Antariouse Caldwell - aka 'Phat' - was captured in Jonesboro, Ga., on Jan. 9, 2019. Caldwell is described as a violent gang member indicted on federal RICO/Conspiracy - Murder, and intent to distribute controlled substances.

That indictment said that members of the gang had committed 10 murders and 12 attempted murders. 

The indictment described the gang as a highly-structured group with a hierarchy in place to run the U.S. should the government fail. 

According to the indictment, gang members have killed everywhere from near Windy Hill Road in Smyrna to an Exxon Station in near Redan Road in DeKalb County. They also allegedly infiltrated local police.
