ATLANTA — Police are investigating a triple shooting in College Park.
It happened off Charlestown Drive around 4 a.m. on Monday.
Two people were transported to a Grady hospital, police said. Police said one person is dead.
Police have not released the identities of the victims.
According to College Park Police Chief Ferman Williford, "some sort of gun battle ensued" outside a home. Police are not sure what led to it.
He described the three individuals involved as probably young adults.
One of them was shot in the neck, Chief Williford said.
