ATLANTA — A homicide investigation is underway after a person was found dead in Downtown Atlanta early Tuesday morning, according to Atlanta Police.
Police responded to 125 Ted Turner Drive for a person down call around 6:18 a.m. When they arrived, they found a male dead at the base of the stairway of the building.
After investigating and checking video footage, officers found that a physical dispute might have led to the death of the victim. However, it's unclear exactly how the person died.
Homicide investigators responded to the scene and are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Police did not identify the victim. On Friday, they announced a person of interest but need help identifying the person.
