LITHONIA, Ga. – Police are investigating an early Monday morning shooting at the Knights Inn off Interstate 20.
Dekalb County Police arrived just after 7 a.m., to the 2859 Panola Road location in Lithonia, Ga.
A male was shot and transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Dekalb County Police Major S.R. Fore said.
Officers tracked down the shooter and took him into custody without incident and a weapon was recovered, he said.
Fore said that robbery may have been a motive.
The investigation is ongoing.
