This happened at the Chevron on Morosgo Drive.

ATLANTA — A 34-year-old man was arrested Friday in a fatal Buckhead gas station shooting on Thursday overnight, according to the Atlanta Police Department on Saturday.

Police said that Antonio Dean was arrested and charged with murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

The shooting happened at the Chevron on Morosgo Drive in the Lindbergh area. APD said that just after 2 a.m.

When they arrived, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds who died at the scene, police said. The Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office has since identified the person who died as 46-year-old Daylon Rainwater of Atlanta.

Preliminary information indicates that he was involved in a dispute with a security guard at the location, police said. Homicide investigators responded to the area and are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
