Atlanta Police investigating deadly stabbing near Walgreens | What we know

This is a developing story.

ATLANTA — Atlanta Police are investigating after a man was stabbed on Tuesday afternoon and later died at a hospital. 

According to the Atlanta Police Department, officers responded to 2711 Metropolitan Parkway SW shortly after 3:30 p.m. This address shows as a Walgreens in the Hammond Park neighborhood.

Police said when officers arrived, they found a 37-year-old man with stab wounds. The man was sent to the hospital in critical condition, where he later died from his injuries.

Homicide Unit Investigators responded to the scene to figure out the circumstances surrounding the incident.
