DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Police are releasing new images and video of a Monday morning triple shooting at a DeKalb County motel that left a 19-year-old dead.
It was around 11:15 in the morning, July 30, when officers responded to the business on Gus Place off Flat Shoals Road.
According to investigators, three men, an 18-year-old, a 19-year-old and a man in his early 20s were inside a room there, when three unidentified men came in and started shooting. Police said "several shots were fired."
Police initially said one person received a minor injury. Two others were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. However, they later confirmed that the 19-year-old died while undergoing surgery. The other two victims are still in good condition.
The victims' identities have not been released at this time.
Police said they have an idea of who the shooter may be, but aren't giving specifics.
"From watching this video, its obvious that all three males played a part in this crime, so all, right now, would be facing the same charge of murder," said Sgt. Adam Quigley with the DeKalb County Police Department.
Quigley said they used surveillance video from two separate hotels to get images of the suspects and the vehicle they apparently used to get away from the scene of the crime.
Investigators said the video is clear enough that they have pretty good leads on who the three suspects are.
"If you know any of these (people), you'll know without a doubt," Quigley said.

Police said the three got away in a 2006 to 2010-model Dodge Charger, either maroon, or red in color. Police said there were no distinctive markings on the vehicle that they've found at this time, and they were unable to read the car's license plate to run a check on it.
Quigley said the motive of the shooting isn't clear at this time, but they're urgently trying to gather information on the suspects to get them away from the public.
"They are obviously armed and are dangerous," Quigley said.
The department is asking anyone in the public who recognizes them, to give DeKalb County Police a call.
