GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — The Gwinnett County Police Department is searching for two suspects who are accused of shoplifting from nine stores at the Mall of Georgia.

Offices said in a news release they have secured 54 warrants for Nakenda Janea Thompson Fevrier, 27, of Pooler and Shacarrie Deasia Heyward, 29 of Savannah. Both have been charged with five counts of felony theft by shoplifting, nine counts of possession of tools for the commission of a crime, nine counts of loitering and prowling and four counts of misdemeanor shoplifting. The current whereabouts of both women are unknown.

On June 22, officers responded to the Dick's Sporting Goods at the Mall of Georgia. A store representative called 911 and reported witnessing two suspects shoplifting large quantities of merchandise, according to GCPD. The suspects, later identified as Fevrier and Heyward, left the store and approached a white vehicle parked outside. Police said when the store representative confronted them, the women dropped the merchandise and ran, leaving the vehicle behind.
